Forum Will Showcase Brooklyn’s Republican Female Candidates
[Brooklyn, NY] – Brooklyn Young Republican Club President, Bob Capano, announced that the Brooklyn Young Republican Club’s September Monthly meeting will be a "Ladies Night", which will feature a showcase of Brooklyn’s Republican Female Candidates for this year’s elections. The meeting, which is open to the public, will be Wednesday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Peggy O’Neill’s in Bay Ridge (8123 5th Avenue).
Candidates scheduled to speak include: Patricia Laudano (46th Assembly District), Lucretia Regina-Potter (49th Assembly District), Yvette Velazquez Bennett (44th Assembly District), and Vivian Hernandez (18th State Senate District). In addition, a representative for State Attorney General candidate Jeanine Pirro will also speak.
Capano stated, "We are thrilled to have so many of Brooklyn’s outstanding female Republican candidates with us for this evening. This event is a unique way to have some fun but also to demonstrate that Brooklynites do indeed have a real choice in this year’s elections to vote for candidates who will work to help families through reducing taxes, controlling government spending, and being responsive to the people they will represent. Unfortunately, all too often in Brooklyn, people assume that there only option is the vote for a liberal Democrat- this year they have a real choice!
In addition to half price drinks for ladies, everyone in attendance will automatically be entered to win a copy of Ann Coulter’s latest best seller: "Godless: The Church of Liberalism"!
