Big Young Republican Weekend Planned in Brooklyn as Representatives From Throughout State Gather in Bay Ridge

[Brooklyn, NY] – The Brooklyn Young Republican Club is proud to announce that it will play host to the fall State Meeting of the New York State Young Republicans (NYSYR). NYSYR is an association of Young Republican Clubs from throughout the state.
Republicans from throughout New York will gather in Bay Ridge September
15th- 17th for meetings, dinner, social activities and participate in a major campaign effort for local Brooklyn Republican candidates. Republican elected officials and other local candidates are expected to attend. Statewide GOP candidates have also been invited to address the gathering.
Bob Capano, President of the Brooklyn YR Club stated, "This is real privilege. It is a testament to the continued outstanding growth of our club and the commitment of our membership to ensure Brooklyn becomes a two-party borough. The days of liberal democrats dominating Brooklyn politics must end. We are fortunate to have a strong Republican presence in southwest Brooklyn as demonstrated by having great elected officials like Congressman Fossella, State Senator Golden, Assemblyman Mirones and Councilman Oddo."
Jason Weingartner, President of NYSYR stated, "Having our Fall Board Meeting in Brooklyn is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of Bob Capano and the Brooklyn YRs in building a truly outstanding organization. We look forward to helping our candidates as they march towards victory on Election Day."
The formal annual meeting will take place at the Best Western Hotel in Bay Ridge.
"Now, we must begin to extend our presence throughout our borough. Our club has been working tirelessly to accomplish this goal and I am pleased we will host this exciting weekend," concluded Capano.
