Brooklyn GOP – First Edition for the Week of April 23, 2007

Dear Brooklyn YRs & Friends:

We are excited to announce a new initiative of the Brooklyn Young Republican Club: the Brooklyn GOP Announcements, a weekly email distributed every Monday to our members and friends. 

While there are numerous successful local Republican clubs, many have pointed out that the Brooklyn YR club has become a significant, active borough-wide organization. We hold regular monthly meetings, host a variety of successful socials, and partner with local clubs to hold special forums and events.  Earlier this month, we were pleased with the outstanding turnout for our Tax Refund Social at Yellow Hook Grille in Bay Ridge in association with the Young Conservatives.

Our membership roll boasts Republicans of all ages from neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn, and we will continue to network and hold events around the borough to nurture this growth.  For example, our next club social will be in Coney Island as we cheer on the Brooklyn Cyclones during opening week against the Staten Island Yankees!  (See details below)

To foster the Brooklyn YR Club’s role as a vibrant and strong borough-wide organization and to continue our work in growing the Republican Party, we will distribute the Brooklyn GOP Announcements each Monday starting today.  It is our hope that this consolidated list will serve as your "one stop shopping" for Brooklyn Republican news and events.  We welcome you to send us information about your news and events for consideration to be shared with our extensive, borough-wide email list including Brooklyn’s leadership, local residents and business owners.
