An Evening with Curtis Sliwa

The Brooklyn YR Club is thrilled to welcome WABC Talk Show Host and Guardian Angels Founder Curtis Sliwa as our honored guest speaker at the Brooklyn YR meeting on November 14^th at 7:30pm. 

In addition to all the latest political news locally and nationally, Curtis will focus on the issues of school vouchers, initiative and referendum, term limits and his unique brand of Republican Populism - a philosophy many old school elitists and country club Republicans have been unwilling to embrace.  With Don Imus poised to take over his show on WABC Dec 3^rd, and the Republican bench lacking many big names to run for statewide and citywide office in New York, many have speculated that Curtis will seek a career in electoral politics.  He has done nothing to quell these rumors and may address that at this meeting. 

Bob Capano, President of the Club, stated, “We are thrilled that Curtis has chosen our Club to speak about his views on issues affecting New York and America, as well as his own future potential plans!”

In addition, Independence Party representative Frank Morano will address the Club.

All meetings are free of charge and open to the public.  Complimentary pizza will be served.
