Join Us on the Montel Williams Show!
Posted by Brooklyn Young Republican Club

The Montel Williams Show (airs on WNYW-FOX Channel 5, Monday-Friday, 10 AM) has invited the Brooklyn YRs to join their show for a two-part series about the 2008 Elections, first-time and/or young voters, and hot topic issues surrounding the election . This is a spectacular and unprecedented opportunity to put Brooklyn and New York’s Young Republicans on the map before the entire country, while meeting some of the important movers and shakers within the world of news, entertainment and politics!
As a club of young Republicans, we have been asked to invite as many Republicans as possible–in particular those between the ages of 18 and 40 who are first time voters. The show has confirmed that a young Democrat organization will be attending to make up half of the audience, so we Republicans must make a good showing for national TV! The show will include active participation with the audience, but such participation is not mandatory.
The two tapings will be done next Thursday, January 24th from 11 AM to 6 PM at the Montel Show Studio in Midtown Manhattan.
*** FREE LUNCH WILL BE INCLUDED & RSVP TO FIND OUT ABOUT FREE TRANSPORTATION OPTION TO STUDIO! ***
Attendees should be in business causal dress.
The special guests for the two-part show will be:
- Former New Jersey Governor, Christine Todd Whitman (R)
- TV Host and Activist Rob Nelson
- Actress Janine Turner
To RSVP your attendance, reply to this e-mail at BrooklynYR@gmail.com with your name, cell phone number, whether or not you are a first-time voter, and any special comments or questions you may have about participating. You may also call BYRC Secretary Jonathan Judge at (718) 360-9583 if you have any questions or would like to RSVP by phone. We look forward to seeing you next Thursday!
