Invitation – Seth Low Journal of Reform and Public Policy
Posted by Brooklyn Young Republican Club
Dear Friends and Fellow Brooklyn YRs,
As announced at our November meeting, the Brooklyn Young Republican Club has established The Seth Low Journal of Reform and Public Policy. Named in honor of the first President of our club and renowned reformer, the Seth Low Journal shall serve as a vehicle offering fellow Brooklyn Young Republicans and reform-minded individuals an opportunity to voice their well-informed and well-reasoned views on various issues and to provide innovative and intelligent solutions to our problems.
As per our Mission Statement, the Seth Low Journal "seeks to enhance the discourse on public policy in Brooklyn, New York and beyond. The Journal shall disseminate articles with particular focus on the most pressing dilemmas facing government and politics today. While pursuing high standards and excellence, the Journal shall present these solutions and ideas in a manner that is accessible to a broad audience of fellow Republicans and reform-minded citizens. In the spirit of America’s great pieces of political and social discourse, we hope to inspire Republicans and all Americans to discuss and work together to promote positive changes in local, state and national public policy."
This is a great opportunity for you to present your solutions.
Therefore, the Seth Low Journal is currently seeking articles for submission for our first issue! We encourage all Brooklyn Young Republican Club Members to submit proposals for articles addressing an area of government reform and public policy that motivates you and that you are passionate about.
