Dear Members,
As Chair of the Journal Committee for the Seth Low Journal of Reform and Public Policy, I’m happy to report that we have received excellent proposals for consideration for publication in our first issue. This is great news, and I will continue to provide updates of our progress until our first issue is released.
Additionally, I am aware that some members have been very busy completing semester courses and other tasks. As such, the Journal Committee is extending the deadline for article proposals until Sunday, December 21st.
For your proposal, please send an email indicating the following:
- Your Name, Email Address, Phone number (please indicate the best way to contact you)
- Your Topic of Interest (i.e., Women, Sarah Palin and the 2008 Election)
- The scope of your article
- Any other relevant information

When writing your proposal, please remember, as per our Mission Statement, the journal "seeks to enhance the discourse on public policy in Brooklyn, New York and beyond. The Journal shall disseminate articles with particular focus on the most pressing dilemmas facing government and politics today… [and] present these solutions and ideas in a manner that is accessible to a broad audience of fellow Republicans and reform-minded citizens."
As for those who have already submitted proposals, you will receive word from a member of the journal shortly to discuss the framework of your article more thoroughly.
