September Meeting Recap

The Brooklyn Young Republican Club had a spectacular evening at its September meeting at the historic Montauk Club.

The beginning of the evening was devoted to raising funds for Alex Zablocki’s campaign for NYC Public Advocate as well as taking the time to mingle with other Young Republicans from around the borough over drinks and cheese and crackers.

During the meeting, we heard from Zablocki about the state of his race and what his upcoming campaign activities will be focusing on, and we heard from Joe Nardiello about the nature of his race in the 39th Council District.

Finally, we heard from Kellen Giuda about Parcbench.com and the future of the Tea Party movement, including how the message of the movement will be getting more refined and focused, and more grassroots organizations are joining the fold.
