RESOLUTION #6-2010 – Establishing membership Thank You rewards program

RESOLVED, That the membership Thank You rewards program offer eligible members the following opportunities:
(a) Eligible Activities: Member participation in the following activities shall allow the member to earn the specified number of Thank You points per incident.

| Posting a Twitter or Facebook update tagging the Brooklyn Young Republican Club | 10 |
| Writing a blog post for the BYRC site | 50 |
| Referral of a new member | 100 |
| Distribution of literature at a public event – 1 hour | 100 |
| Petitioning for candidates for public/party office – 1 hour | 100 |
| Phone banking – 50 phone numbers | 150 |
| Referring a donor to BYRPAC | 200 |
| Distributing literature to specific households – 1 hour | 200 |
Thank You points shall be awarded when the President or his/her designee certifies the completion of the eligible activity by the member. However, in the event that the President or his/her designee is eligible to earn such points, neither the President nor his/her designee shall be permitted to self-certify the completion of an eligible activity; in this case, another elected club officer shall certify on behalf of the club. The Secretary of the Club shall be responsible for tracking all Thank You point balances in accordance with this and any other applicable Resolution of the Board.
(b) Thank You Points Cap: Any member of the club in good standing shall be eligible to accrue the following maximum number of points for each membership level per year.

No member may accrue more points in a calendar year than is permitted by the above-referenced caps, unless otherwise authorized by Resolution of the Board.
(c) Using Thank You Points: Upon earning the requisite points for a particular Thank You reward, any member may submit a request with the Secretary of the Club to use Thank You points, who shall refer the request to the Board of Directors for satisfaction.
