Brooklyn Young Republican Club: Welcomes Assembly Candidate Berneda Jackson At Our Next Meeting 8/21/16

Assembly candidate Berneda Wills Jackson is a life long resident of Bedstuy, Brooklyn. She was offically ordained into religious life at The FEDERAL LATIN AMERICAN CHAPLIN ASSN this year, however she was ordained as a prominent leader among Bedstuy’s youth long ago. As a life long resident of Bedstuy, Brooklyn Berneda has witnessed many difficult times in her community, and reached her breaking point with the murder of her only son at age 27.

Carl Thomas Junior had his life taken away by the violence that has plagued Bedstuy for years. Yet, Berneda has taken the tragic death of her child, and is using it as motivation to make a difference in her community. She refuses to be a victim, she refuses to let her son‘s memory die, and she refuses to stay down. This is why she is running for State Assembly in the upcoming elections , and why safety in her community is an essential part of her platform. In order to do this, we must bridge the gap between the Black Community and NYPD in Bedstuy.

To begin this process, joining Champlain Jackson will be Brooklyn GOP’s very own, and retired NYPD officer Brian Doherty to contribute his experiences and outlook on achieving this very worthy goal. Undoubtedly, Champlain Jackson’s story and platform is captivating.

Unfortunately, this is not enough in the democrat controlled Bedstuy. We are personally reaching out to every Republican and Conservative to please come listen to Champlain Jackson’s story. If you come out to hear, meet, and get to know Champlain Berneda Jackson, I guarantee you’ll walk away a believer that a Republican can win in Bedstuy, Brooklyn.
